Julio-Claudian Dynasty

The first Roman Imperial Dynasty was that of the Julio-Claudians. The family rose to prominence under Gaius Julius Caesar, but his adopted great-nephew, Augustus, would usher the Roman Republic into the era of Empire.

This family tree is heavily simplified to cut out characters who are less important to the narrative. Follow along as we untangle this web of marriages, heirs, and unfortunately-timed deaths. See if you can guess who will rise to title of Emperor next!
